Going Beyond Brainstorming with Advanced Idea Generation Tools and Techniques
Ideas are the lifeblood of any innovation effort. However, many organizations simply use suggestion schemes and idea boxes, which don’t always generate innovative or actionable ideas. Even brainstorming has limitations when it comes to getting people to think creatively and come up with unique ideas.
This 1-day Idea Generation workshop explains how to go beyond brainstorming to generate more high-value innovation project ideas from a variety of sources including internal innovation and R&D sessions, current and potential customers, and suppliers in the value chain. You will learn how to use a variety of advanced ideation techniques, and how to generate ideas from outside the organization using tools such as open innovation, crowdsourcing and social media technology.
This workshop features LEGO SERIOUS PLAY® — a unique methodology designed to enhance innovative thinking and creativity, and improve communication and teamwork. Guided by Kamal Hassan, a Trained LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Facilitator, you will use LEGO building blocks to create specific representations, or metaphors, as a tool to improve idea generation and help you communicate your ideas more clearly.
